By purchasing services from CLIF - Come Live In France, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. -
Accuracy of Information
CLIF strives to ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date, but it is your responsibility to verify details before making any decisions or purchases. -
Scope of Services
Descriptions are for informational purposes, and actual service results may vary due to individual circumstances. -
Pricing and Additional Fees
Prices for our services cover only the specific packages offered. Additional fees may apply for third-party services like utilities, housing, etc. These will be communicated separately. -
Payment Terms
Payments must be made in full prior to service initiation. Additional fees incurred during the service must be paid within 7 days of invoicing. Late payments may result in service delays or cancellations. -
Timeline and Options for Services
6.1 Apartment Search
Timeline:

The completion of the apartment search service typically takes 20-40 business days from the time the request is confirmed and payment is received.
Number of Options Provided:
-
CLIF will provide up to 5 tailored apartment options based on your specified requirements.

Out of these 5, 3 options will be shortlisted for property visits.

If you request additional options beyond these 5, a fee of €150 per additional option will be charged.
Apartment Visits:

We will arrange up to 3 property visits for the shortlisted options. Any additional visits beyond these 3 will incur an additional fee of €100 per visit.
Extras and Charges:

Requests for expedited apartment searches (completion within 10 business days) will incur an additional €400 express service fee. While we will prioritize and accelerate our internal processes, please note that delays caused by agencies or third parties are beyond our control. This may also be due to regional demand and supply. In case we were unable to deliver within 10 business days, the additional fee will be deducted or refunded.

All services, including visits and shortlisted options, are subject to availability and market conditions.

In case of changes in the rental market, properties listed may become unavailable. CLIF is not liable for such market-driven changes.

The apartment search process involves both CLIF and third-party entities (agencies, landlords, property owners), which may cause delays in securing the ideal apartment and arranging property visits.

Important note: Agency fees, security deposits, and the first month’s rent (or more, depending on the property) are not included in CLIF’s service fee.

Service delivery time may be extended due to delays caused by missing documents or other factors attributable to the client.

If the client's budget is below the market price, we might have to increase it a bit or adjust the specifications required.​
6.2 Consultations
Timeline:
Scheduling and completion of consultations will be done within 5-7 business days after payment confirmation.
Consultation Duration:

General Consultation: One consultation session lasting up to 1 hour.

Specialized Consultation: Up to 2 consultation sessions lasting up to 1 hour per session including extra specific assistance.
Consultation Options:

The General Consultation is purely advisory and includes providing general information relevant to your relocation needs. No further assistance is provided beyond this consultation.

The Specialized Consultation includes additional services such as personalized advice, relocation strategy, and next steps based on your situation. This package includes post-consultation email support for 1 week.

If more assistance is required, a custom quote will be provided for any additional services.
6.3 Package Services
Timeline: Package services may take 30-70 business days, depending on the complexity and the scope of the services required.
Package Types:

Arrival Package (Apartment Search + Basic Utilities Setup): Includes apartment search, housing garant, electricity, water, gaz and/or banking guidance. Expected completion within 30-40 business days.

Comfort Package (Apartment Search + Full Relocation Assistance): Includes everything in Arrival Package, plus internet installation, sim card, housing insurance, mutuelle health membership and/or certified translations. Expected completion within 45-55 business days.

Prestige Package (Apartment Search + Full Relocation Assistance): Includes Arrival and Comfort Package, plus moving services, social security, insurance (car, moto, or pet), driving license change, public and public transportation consultation calls, visa consultation and/or tax consultation. Expected completion within 55-70 business days.
Terms for Additional Services:

Any changes to the scope of the package mid-service (e.g., adding utility setup or other assistance) will incur additional charges and may extend the timeline.

Expedited Service: Expedited completion within 20-40 business days can be requested for an additional fee of €500 (if applicable).
6.4 Third-Party Services
Timeline: The timeframe for services involving third-party providers, such as electricity companies, internet providers, or utility companies, will vary and is subject to the availability and processing times of those providers.
Terms for Third-Party Services:

CLIF will facilitate the setup of third-party services (electricity, internet, utilities, etc.), but we are not liable for any delays or issues caused by the third parties.

You will be informed of the expected timeline for each third-party service upon initiating the request.

Any additional fees charged by third-party providers, including setup or subscription costs, will be communicated upfront but are separate from CLIF’s service fees.
Additional Terms:

If a third-party provider fails to deliver the service, CLIF will assist with an alternative provider where possible. However, no refunds will be issued for third-party service delays or failures.

Coordination Fee: If a third-party service is not included in your initial package but added later, an additional fee per service will be charged.
Additional Service Conditions

Modifications to Scope of Services:

Any changes requested to the scope of services after payment will require a new agreement and an updated quote.

Changes may also affect the delivery timeline.

Timeline Extensions Due to External Factors:
-
CLIF will not be liable for delays resulting from external factors such as third-party delays, regulatory or governmental processes, or force majeure events.

Should an external delay occur, CLIF will notify the client within 72 hours, and the timeline will be adjusted accordingly.

Customer Communication:

Failure to provide necessary information or feedback in a timely manner may result in service delays. In such cases, the timeline may be extended by up to 10 business days without any liability on the part of CLIF.

Any failure to provide necessary documents or pre-requisites in a timely manner will result in delays that CLIF is not liable for.

Service Termination:

If you choose to terminate the service mid-process, a refund will not be issued, as per the terms outlined in the Refund Policy.

In the event of non-payment or delayed payment, CLIF reserves the right to halt services until all outstanding balances are settled.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that the timelines provided are subject to reasonable changes based on your responsiveness, external factors, and the complexity of the service requested.

Liability Limitations
CLIF is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages. Total liability will not exceed the total amount paid under this agreement. -
Third-Party Services
While CLIF works with reputable partners, we cannot guarantee third-party services. Third-party agreements are separate and may involve additional terms. -
Personal Circumstances
Results of our services may be affected by individual circumstances. CLIF cannot guarantee outcomes based on factors outside our control. -
Legal and Regulatory Compliance
You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to your case. -
Termination and Amendments
CLIF reserves the right to modify or terminate services and terms. Changes will be communicated, and mutual consent is required. -
Force Majeure
CLIF is not liable for delays caused by external events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government actions, or strikes. -
Confidentiality
We ensure confidentiality of all client information, except where required for service delivery. -
Independent Professional Advice
We recommend seeking independent legal, financial, or regulatory advice before making decisions. -
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of France. Disputes shall be settled in the French courts. -
Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. -
Severability
If any part of this Agreement is invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue to be enforceable. -
Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of rights.
